Sick again

My son get sick so fast. He got home yesterday from school coughing and he have runny nose. Now, it's spreading. Jolaine have runny nose today. I feel so bad for Jolaien because she have watery eyes and runny nose. I hope she don't get the cough.

Jodel is not sick yet so I am hoping she won't get it.

Mom and Dad just left with my two kids

They are going spend the night at their house this evening. They might go back here tomorrow or the next day. They are a little bit sick but Mom said it's okay. It was Mom that wants the kids so I let them go. And I am sure they will be fine there. They love spending time with their grand parents.

I was a little bit upset to my son this morning I was giving him the cough medicine but he won't take it. Well he did take it but he won't swallow the medicine he just kept it in his mouth. He didn't like the medicine that I gave him so, I guess I will just throw it away. There's no point for us to have a fight. If he don't take it then that's fine with me. Anyway, Mom is going to stop by at the store to get them some medicine that they love the "Tylenol" flavored Grape.

Looks like JOlaine have runny nose now...argh.. I hate it when they are sick :(

Regular Flu

Yesterday afternoon Joey's fever went up to 103.1F he was so hot. I gave him a bath b/c his body was just too hot. He was playing on the bathtub. After 10 minutes in the water I took him out and put him on his bed checked his temperature and it was down to 99.6F I feel better. Joel came from work to check on Joey he wanted to make sure that Joey is doing good then after an hour he went back to work.

I lay down on the bed about 1pm and I fell asleep woke up about 3:30 in the afternoon. I checked on Joey and he was hot again his fever went up to 101.7 and I was scared a little bit because his fever just won't go away. It goes up and down and I finally decided to call the doctor and made an appointment. I called Joel right away and told him that I made an appointment to the doctor and told him to go home right away so we could go. He went home pick us up and then went straight to the woodlands from where the doctor's office. I am so glad we made it. We arrived there @ 4:31pm

Doctor checked on him and got some test. He got a regular flu. He prescribed us medicine for Joey and for Jodel. He doesn't want Jodel to get the flu so we are giving her medicine to prevent her from getting sick.

The medicine called TAMIFLU is very expensive. We got the medicine at the Walgreen's and it cost us 60 dollar each. We got two bottles for Joey and Jodel. The other one is the Amoxicillin for Joey and it cost 10 dollar - copay.

Total cost for the medicine is 130 dollar that is just the copay. I don't know how much it cost if we don't have insurance I am pretty sure it would cost us more if we don't.

Well, I am so glad we took him to the doctor yesterday. I got so tired last night I went to bed right away. Joel took care of Joey last night and I hope he is not tired today.

Joey was hot this morning again I gave him the medicines. Right this minute, he is playing and playing like he is not sick. I hope I don't get the flu.

Kids Fever

Joey has a fever and it was extremely high this morning. I checked his temperature and it was 102.7F I was so worried. I gave him Children's Motrin and it seems like his fever is going down. He was complaining about his ear the whole night. He said his ear was hurt. He has an air infection I guess. I have a heating pad here and I let him lay down on it and it looks like it helping him.

Right now, he got up from his bed and watch TV looks like he is getting better. His fever goes up and down. I am going to cook him breakfast in a minute and I hope he'll eat. I really don't like when Joey get sick because he loses weight. He doesn't like to eat.

I didn't sleep so good last night hubby wanted to care of Joey but I didn't let him because he have work today and I don't want him to get tired so I watched Joey the whole night last night. So hard when your kids are sick. Well, what's funny is, Jodel is not sick. She is more healthier than Joey. My son is just too picky that's all!!!!!!!
